Getting a loan requires that you produce some important documents. Here’s a basic checklist for things you'll need. Thinking ahead can help the process move smoothly.
- Copy of Homeowner's Insurance Declaration Page
- Copy of Mortgage Statement or Coupon or verification of rent/cancelled checks
- Last 30 Days paycheck stubs for all borrowers (if applicable)
- Last 2 years W-2's for all borrowers (if applicable)
- Last 2 years complete tax returns for all borrowers. Including all Schedules (if applicable)
- Copy of Drivers License for all borrowers
- Copy of Social Security card for all Borrowers
- Copy of all Pension Statements, "Award" Letter, etc. (if applicable)
- Copy of Social Security Annual "Award" Letter, Statement, etc. (if applicable)
- Copy of Divorce decree, including all pages (if applicable)
- Copy of Bankruptcy discharge papers (including all pages)

- You must be an occupying borrower or co-borrower. Non-occupying co-borrower not allowed. Co-signers must be related as parents, children or siblings. Proof of relationships will be required i.e. birth certificates.
- Copy of Mortgage Statement or Coupon or verification of rent/cancelled checks/bank statements covering the last 12 months; if living with family, it will require an acceptable budget letter.
- Letter of explanation from borrowers regarding all inquiries.
- Letter of explanation from borrowers for all derogatory credit regardless of the date of the incident.
- No late payments on any account in the last 12 months.
